Weird thing happened when i installed my ac belt

Ok after i got done installing my ac belt wierd thing started to happen. My idel is really like like below 1000, when i put it in reverse it grinds, it's hard to shift gears. What is goin on with all of this.

I assume you mean "really low like below" which...is good...what is the exact number?

the other problem doesn't have anything to do with your ac belt

like low like the second or third dash

First of all grammer is your friend.

Focus: One problem has nothing to do with the other, first check the fluid levels in the trans. If it is low then top it off, if it is not low then try changing it with fresh gear oil. If that doesn't work you probably have synchro problems. Next, does the idle fluctuate or does it stay at one low idle?
