Ok every once in a while my car just wouldn't start. I turn the key and nothing, but this rarely happens. Most of the time it starts right up. Also my car sometimes starts without stepping on the clutch. Can you guys give me some ideas on what to check bc I think I have a bad connection somewhere I just don't know where?
thanks

First thing I would check is the clutch switch on the clutch pedal. That should be the cause for it starting w/o pressing the pedal.

Can you give any more details on the no start. Does the fuel pump kick on (should be able to hear a whine from the back of the car with the key set to ON.), does the starter click when you try to start, does it turn and just not engage or just not do anything at all. My first thought is the clutch pedal is sticking (as stated above) so I would start there.

The fuel pump kicks in bc I can hear it and the starter clicks but it won't do anything at all.
