Weird sound from engine bay

So im pretty sure I'm having trouble with the spark plugs so I popped the hood when i got home and wanted to make sure i couldnt see any arching off of the plug wires and all that and while i was under there i hear a GLUG GLUG sound, very similar to someone trying to pour a 2 gallon(scared SH##less at this point). I then tried to see more where it was coming from and it seems to have been coming from the cold air intake (or atleast the area)? Any idea what this may be? I was scared to death when I heard abnormal noise coming from the engine bay .

Any leaking fluid? Check the coolant overflow. That is where I would start if I heard a "glug, glug" sound.If it the coolant, check the fluid level. Possibly air in the system, thermostat not opening, of water pump.

What are the symptoms that caused you to think you had an issue in the first place? You really need more information.

My temp stayed at a bit over half and has since I got the car a month or two back. That would be a good indicator of low fluid level if it was unsteady in temp or if it was too high id think but I feel that the temp is right where it should be

Sooo based on a gauge in your car, your not going to bother with the cooling system check? I suppose you use the stock boost gauge to decide how much boost your running.

What is the reason you started looking for problem? Cel on? You need to put a video up here or youtube.

ouch 2gmitsueclipse . Actually this is my first car im really going into modifying besides my s10 with a 350 in it that ive just done maintenance on. But to answer your question no, Ive actually been putting more money into parts to assure safety on the motor such as actually boost gauge over "go fast" parts. And yes I had a CEL once, took it to autozone and it showed all sorts of stuff such as misfire and much much more when they scanned it. Now judging by how the car was running i couldnt trust it and had my dads friend scan it and for the life of me i cant remember the code but I remember it was nothing too serious. The main reason i started looking for the problem was under WOT at higher rpms it seems to want to buck mildly every so often so ive quit running it hard til i figure that out. 2gmitsu I do see where youre coming from and i can take a look at the coolant system. Trust me, I have been there. Just be open to advice on where to start looking when you ask for it. I would prefer to find a problem with the cooling system before the car overheated.
With your other issue with bucking, I would look at completing a boost leak test, checking plugs and wires, and maybe changing out the fuel filter as you have not had the car long. Look at the easy stuff first.
