Ok.I'm having a problem with my 95 eagle talon tsi. everytime i start the car theres always cranking and electrical noise that coming out when im start the car. the car runs smooth and there's no problem while im driving it. it just when i start the car it always make that noise. and it sounds like the battery is to weak to start up the car. but i just got a new battery last week.. what would be the problem??

yeah, with the vague description that you gave us, i would have to agree with luv2rally and say either something with the started or connections with the battery. if you want a more precise troubleshoot, you need to give more details than that. let us know

you should check the altenator connections... if you start you car and ebrake lights or other lights keep turning on in ## dash board... you have a poor connection with your altenator.
if you tested the starter and new battery already and it all works fine. then i can bet it's your poor altenator connectons.
what i did with my civic, diffrent cars but same physics... was put ground wire from the frame to the altenator( find any bolt to ground to altenator). it started up like it was a new car.
hope that helps!

Wait till it's dark. Then get someone to look under the hood (but have them stand back!), and while you start your car, have them watch for arcing (espcially near the battery and starter. If you're actually hearing the electrical crackling noice, something has to be making a pretty good jump. The least they could do is pin-point the noise for you/us.

Try cleaning the battery connections with baking soda and wire brush them clean. also unbolt the connection to the starter and clean them . any amount of resistance can cause starting concerns . but try that if it still persists, then you could have a bad cell in your battery. which means getting a new one. hope that helps.
