When I turn off the car makes weird noise

Once out of every 4 times I turn off the car it makes a weird noise coming from the engine bay. It sounds similar to when you shake a spray can and the ball inside hits the metal. Its quite loud and rapid when I turn off the car and it quites down until it stops. I have always turbo timed the car and no matter how long it idles it still does it. anyone know? thanks!

My first guess would be the boost control solenoid, they do that on ocassion. Pop the hood, start the car, turn it off and have some one poke around to find the noise.

Mine has always done the same thing. Short rapid ticking noise when it first cuts off. Ive never had any problems related to it.
