This is from my 1G Eclipse AWD GSX.
I adjust the clutch pedal because my gears were grinding and the pedal would not lift up all the way, there was like half an inch I could pull up the pedal with my hand after pressing/depressing it.. Messed with the master cylinder rod, and it fixed that. The rod is adjusted almost the whole way clockwise, so it's close to falling off the holder/where the nut locks on to. (But I'm still able to push the slave cylinder in, no matter how far I adjust it..)
So, I adjusted it, but now If I push down the clutch all the way down to the floor, there's this weird noise coming from clutch area I think.. Sounds like something's rubbing up against something. But if i lift my foot a little up, still to the point where I can shift into any gear without any grinding, the noise goes away..
Do the First gear hold clutch 7RPM check, and the car moves a little forward. So there's definitely something wrong.
The clutch only has like 6-7 months worth of driving on it. Was replaced summer last year. So it's still fairly new? I guess.
Anyone have any idea what could be done to fix the problem?
