this oil pump is in perfect shape.. nothing is wrong with it. The places where you think it has been damaged is looking like this cause its the machining that have been made by the factory. This is where the oil goes trough the pump and achieve the pressure. the oil won't pass between the two gears like most people are thinking but it pass between the gears and the walls of the housing. this what creating pressure, so the reason of the machining walls. space between gears and walls need to be really thin to create good pressure.
thats almost impossible but also seems the be the bottom of an hydraulic lifter.
seems to be the end of the balance shaft or something like that. possibly the shaft that have seized up and the break.
