i changed my cars oil 2 days ago and i noticed something different from the oil i drained in my car theres a lot of little bubble in the oil. is that normal? or theres something wrong with my car?

If you were running it just before you drained it off it could be a sign of windage. This is where the crank and related assembly churns up the oil and puts air in it (and sprays oil about basically taking power away).

Was it just air or was the oil turning white? if it was actually changing the color of the oil to whitish it is a sign of water in the oil not air....

nope my car been sitting there all night and the bubble looks air to me theres no white thing in it. so i guess theres nothing wrong with my car:confused:

hmmm that is odd. The air should bubble out in a few mins.

What kinda air bubbles are you referring to. When you pulled the drain plug and it started to drain was it comming out in a nice clean stream with air in it??

Ya got me stumped on this one....maybe it wasn't air but something else. Did you watch it after a few hours to see if the air bubbled out? did you feel you oil (always do this) to see if it had metal flake or anything else in it?

yah the bubbles are just pure air coz i pop one of it. its really strange coz thats the first time i so a lot of bubble in it. i didnt touch my oil or feel if there are some metal flakes i dont know about feeling oil but since you told me that i'll gonna do that next time. thanks for telling me bout the oil feeling:)

does the oil look normal or is it like milkshakey, if so then you have a coolent leak into your oil, not good. Two most common problems are crushing your oil filter housing (only on 91 and up) or head gasket.
