Water pump? not adding up

I need a new water pump for my 95 so i bought a 2g one , wasnt even close to the same! so then i tryed a 1g pump it was similar but still not the same bolt pattern what the #### do i have?

Where did you buy it? Sometimes autoparts places don't get their parts in the correct boxes. Or the guy behind the counter doesn't pull the right part number.

Yeah thats for sure. I ordered a brake caliper at autozone. When I went to pick it up they had ordered me a brake master cylinder. I have no idea how they messed that one up.


Yeah thats what it sounds like they got you the wrong part. Do you have pics to show at all?

Or they got you the one for the 420a.

i dont have pics for the one i got it returned it for the 1g pump. I tryed part source first and he brought it up and i told him to look again and he said thats what they had then i went to auto value and got the 1g pump becuase they didnt even have the 2g one.. so i guess should i just try a different store again? oh and the guy at auto value brought up a picture of the 2g pump and it looked nothing like mine.

my pump looks like the second one for sure the 1g is so similar so i guess they kept giving me the n/t pump at both places so useless.. but i ordered one from a bigger chain store and the guy said his picture exactly matched my pump so well see and thanks for the pictures clears up the diffs in them!
