Water/alcohol/methanol injection? Which is best and where can I find instructions?

I want to lower my knock a little and higher boost so I'm looking into either a water, alcohol, or methanol injection. Does anybody know any threads with good write ups and possibly pics of the install?

Here is a good thread on water/alky injection. It's long but it has lots of good info. Do a search and there are tons of other small ones about more specific aspects of h20 injection. I have a water/alky kit from www.enginerunup.com by the way. The kit is great and Greg's service is the best.

I personally use 100% methanol for injection and love it. It allows me to run 28psi on 60-1 on 91 pump gas. I use a kit developed by Derek O'banion (searching for that name will yeild you a lot of info about water/methanol injection). There are also kits on ebay for under $200 now, which are using same pump (shurflo) and whole range of different solenoids. I have installed 2-3 of them on customer's cars, and so far they performed great.

I run 1gallon tank, which lasts me about 2.5 tank-fulls of fuel of mixed city/hwy/boosted driving. My gas mileage went up from 20mi/gal to 23mi/gal mostly due to methanol replacing over 30% of my fuel up on top. Since methanol is only $2.90/gal here, it's heck of a deal compared to racegas.

As for the wiring, there are diagramms everywhere on the net. If you have trouble fiding or reading one, PM me, and I'll post some directions here.
