Alcohol + water, methanol and other corrosive fuels

I live in Brazil, South America, here of 1977 cars use alcohol + 5% water as fuel, this mixture is very corrosive. The DSMs that were converted to this blend had corrosion issues on all components in contact with the blend. Fuel rail, tank, injectors, pump.
I would like to exchange information with the DSM community in the USA.

You probably need to move toward components that are used in ethanol-based fuel systems:

Yea they can eat up pumps pretty quickly. Methanol pumps usually have a life span of a few years. Since yours is diluted to just 5% your system will last longer but maybe just re-purchase all of those fuel parts unless you can get your hands on some non-water/alcohol based fuels? Would cost less and should hold up for quite a few years. Unless you wish you wish to buy the system above for $800+.
