Wastegate wont close

Ok i have a turbosmart 35mm wastegate, and it wont close all the way when im in idle. When im driving it is completely open, so i have no boost. i have the greddy profec bii hose connnected to the wastegate and my bov hose connected aswell .I need as much help as possible please. thanks for your time.

When you unhook the tubes to it does it close or no?
If no then it's your wastegate. If it does close with no lines hooked to it then it could be a line hooked up incorrectly...

So i figured out what it was. The Company who sold the wastegate to me(who i will keep a secret, because they havent messed up before) told me i could just bolt it on. But that wasnt the case. there was this ring that goes inside the wastegate that connects to the manifold, which in the end fixed the problem..... but let me tell you why i am writing so late. its because my timing belt snapped and i just got towed home. ... Arn't these great cars?... Thanks for your help and concern.
