my sunroof will move but just by a little this just recently started happening and i think its due to the cold weather. im not sure if ice is stopping my sunroof from opening and closing but im just trying to get it closed all the way, one side of my sunroof is closed but on the other horizontal end(driver side) is still popped open slightly.
any ideas on how i can trouble shoot if its the ice stopping my sunroof from closing or not?

if one side is moving, maybe it fell off the track. happened to me. i took the glass off by taking off the torx screws inside and put the slider back on the track and sprayed some wd40 so it slides great now. try that or look and see if its that. because it sounds the exact same thing that happened to me.

i guess it could be off track. my whole sunroof is closed right now just that the horizontal(driver side) end is poped up and the passanger side is staying down closed so if you look at my car from behind 1 side is up(driver side) and one side is closed(passenger side)

Hmm one suggestion would be to quit opening your Sunroof in Winter.

Another would be to check the tracking of your sunroof. Sounds off track to me.

Could be the motor though. Really hate motorized sunroofs. Could have just offered flipping T-Tops or something...
