I think my stock wastegate is stuck closed because when i remove my MBC and put it back to stock setup the boost just flys up and up with no control. Does anyone have an easy fix or had the same problem. Im just going to put my MBC back on, atleast it keeps it at 15psi wrather than 18-22psi. Is their a quick fix or am i going to have to buy a new one?

if the wastegate is stuck open you wont get boost for crap. since the majority of the exhuast pulse exits the turbine housing before the turbine wheel. maybe its stuck close. remove the little clips that attaches the acuator from teh flapper arm and see if you can open the wastegate by hand (I assume you are still on the stock T-25 since I didnt see a upgrade on you profile). if all is good, reconnect and reattach the little clip. Make sure it seats good. then run a pressure source line (like from teh little nipple just below the inlet on the T-25) then run it directly to the wastegate and see if it works. (should open about 11 PSI and stay at 11 PSI.

When you removed the MBC, did you replace the stock BCS? If not, there is nothing at all to control boost.

What does the stock bcs look like? I dont think i removed anything when i first installed the MBC. I just snipped the hose and put the MBC in there.

with a line from you intake to your wastegate you will have 8 lbs. if you have no signal to your wastgate it will never open. check and make sure that you really hooked it back up and there are no leaks in the hoses to the stock bcs and to the wastegate.

The stock BCS is a little black plastic piece that connects into the same harness that is plugged into your MAS. One end of this attaches to the lower intercooler pipe, and the other end attaches to the wastegate.
