Wuts up? the problem im having is on my freshly built cylinder head. bc cams, retainers, valve springs, new valves, stem seals, guides, and lash adjusters. I put everything in timing and started it and i heard a big ruckus under the valve cover. Pulled off the valve cover and on the exhaust cam there was one rocker arm off. put the rocker arm back on and it was very lose. The valve springs on the exhaust side are shut and not stretching out enough and all but maybe 2 rocker arms are very lose. On the intake side the rocker arms are all tight. SO why are the exhaust side so light?

Sounds like you bent some valves :( Your timing may have been off and your pistons hit the valves. Did you bleed the lifters before you put them back? The valves will bend and not be able to seat properly. Sorry to hear. The only thing I can think of to do is take the head back off and see how bad it is. :barf:

If the head was done by a shop, take pictures or bring the engine/car to them as is. Don't take the head off like I said before, otherwise if it wasn't the timing and was their fault, you'd have no proof. Good luck
