As topic says how mutch boost is the wastegate at the big E16g set to? Do not get mine to boost under 18psi. Have an adjustable arm to the wastegate flapper but no mather what i do to it i dont get readings under 18psi. Dont have fuelmods on the car so need to get the boost down for now.. What to do? someone have a picture of their "wastegate arm?"
Sorry for bad english.

The real MHI evo III 16g doesn't have an adjustable wastegate arm, and it hold 6-7 psi. Which means you have a knockoff. Have you tried to adjust the arm so it's not so tight?

Your knockoff 16G's adjustable wastegate actuator is fine....the problem is the dime-sized wastegate hole in the housing is not allowing boost to bypass the turbine, and causing boost creep.

You need to port the wastegate hole if you ever plan on running anything below 18psi.

I'd still check to see what the opening pressure is on the actuator. Perhaps it was changed but most likely it's just wastegate hole.

That's true- I have seen the knockoff turbos come with the wastegate actuator so poorly-adjusted that the flapper barely opened at all.

Try sourcing some air to the wastegate actuator to see how far it opens and re-adjust the actuator if necessary. If that does not work, you'll need to remove the turbo and break out your die grinder.

I would recommend doing his 2nd suggestion, just to cure any potential problems such as boost creep in the future.
