warning lights?

91 N/t eclipse
Just recently i was in cruise control and hit the shifter into neutral by accident. Rpm went to red line. Then shortly after that my

Low coolant warning light
Battery warning light and
E-brake light came on...

they continue to flicker dimly but the car runs fine... i disconnected the battery and let it reset but still it does it... please help

Normally, when you get funky lights on the dash, it turns out to be a bad voltage regulator in the alternator. I would get your charging system checked out at somewhere like AutoZone. It's possible that your alternator was on it's way out to begin with and the extra revs spun it fast enough to accelerate it's demise.

Either way, having the charging system checked is quick and free.

Check out the alternator. On my daily driver '94 es i had the exact same problem and it was an alternator. Autozone will get you fixed up with their free charging system check.

The alternator is 1 yr old. Ill get it checked tomorrow

Got i checked out.. alternator is putting out 11.7v, time for a new alternator
