el paso, Texas
Hey guys, i need to change my motor mounts, i want to get polyurethane, the problem is that i can't order online, anyone knows where to buy 'em at el paso tx??? i am thinking of some prothane ones but any other poly mounts will do

i got a talon awd, the one with 4g63
thanks

and as i said, buying them online is not an option

Your not going to find them anywhere besides online. The only possibility would be to have a shop order them, but they will just buy them online and charge you twice what they paid for them.

If you don't mind me asking, why is purchasing anything online not an option? You'll be lucky to find anything directly related to our cars in a store or at a shop for a decent price. Unless you personally drive to the vendor and there are none that I know of anywhere close to Texas.

thanks guys, and well its just that i don't own ccards and i like better to see at a store what i am looking for so i wont be fooled, but i wanted to try, maybe someone knows... if not just gotta have my brother to buy em for me

The thing to do if your worried about someone stealing your money online or don't want a credit card in your pocket burning a hole thru your will power is to get a pay as you go card. They sell them at gas stations and walmart. You get the card and "charge it" with the amount your going to spend on something. Its a gift credit card so the only money its tied to is how much you put on it. Use that card as your paypal link account and the only thing you can buy is what amount you have on the card. :thumb:

I hate going into local auto stores and turn my nose up at almost everything they have for my car. You want performance stuff then online is were its at unless you live close to a shop.

I agree with the above. You can even get a paypal debit card. Put money in paypal spend it on the card. Never worry about going in debt.

You can always go to walmart and but a visa or mastercard gift card and put the amount that they cost on the card. From there you can use the card on any site.

Autozone sells urethane bushings and mounts. They will have to special order them though which takes 24-48 hours. I've got some from them and they were priced the same as online. They have Energy Suspension poly bushings and mounts though, which I prefer over prothane.

First, get a Paypal, it's great being able to buy parts online.

Second, don't buy motor mounts at all. Go to the hardware store and get a tube of Window Weld Urethane, it is a caulk like goop that hardens quickly. You can just pump your old motor mounts full of this stuff and once they dry will be rock solid. I think there is a write up on this somewhere...

3M makes the product and it is available basically anywhere.

i use the walmart prepaid debit card for all online purchases.. you can load money on them almost anywhere and you dont have to worry about someone getting ahold of all your info. its linked to my paypal so ordering online is cake. ill put anywere from 1-2k on it a month through buying and selling on fleabay.. LOL

Put the front and rear roll stop mounts in and leave the others stock, if you want the benefit but less vibration
