Does that downpipe go out the side of the front bumper!?! A little dirty, but thats a nice setup

Here's those pics. Clean engine....and the mess it made inside the car. Ah well, with work, patience, and attention to detail the interior will look as clean or cleaner too.

how many hours of work has it taken to relocate the main harness so far??

krisj144,
WOW!!! OMG That looks like one monster of a project! How long have you worked on it and how much longer do you think it will take to finish? I too would like to re-route the wiring and everything but after seeing your wiring nightmare I'm not so sure. I'd probably plan on doing something like that while I was having the engine rebuilt. Another thing to do with the engine out is to have it repainted and then paint the hard lines the same color so that they blend in with the sheet metal. I think that would do wonders to help "clean up" the look of the engine bay. Also might consider painting the wire loom or get loom as close to the color of your car that you can. On my car I try to clean things as I go and it really helps alot. Right now I've got the exhaust mani and turbo off and I've got some cleaning to do before they go back on. Congratulations and good luck krisj144. I'm sure it'll turn out great. Keep us posted. Later.
