hey delta try clicking the link then you'll know what im talking about.
I clicked the link. I know DSM Graveyard is a reputable company, but they don't exactly have strong presence in the 420A market. I would contact them and verify everything that's in those engines; I don't see anything about upgraded rods, just rod bolts. Without upgraded rods, I don't know how anything can be rated to "400HP."
and locke i know you can but the rods an pistons in the 420a block are weak thats why i keep saying not to turbo it. to me it seems pointless to spend all that money just to blow your rod/piston. id rather buy eagle rods an say j.e pistons bore out the block then run it like that. your percentage of blowing a rod/piston are alot less.. right or wrong?
Wrong, if you have a proper fuel system, you're no more likely to damage a stock engine than a built engine at those boost levels. It's ridiculous to say "either build your engine before turbocharging it or don't turbocharge it at all" when it's been proven otherwise countless times.

I'm darn sure it's 553hp (unsure as to wheel horse power or Fly) on a 4g63t. However that was the summer before last. Who knows what's been churned out since then.
I wouldn't be buttin' head's.... we all know what we're talking about. I think we can all agree that a built block is better than stock, but most people don't really NEED to run insane amounts of boost right from the get go. 'Tis best to ease into the performance world so you don't run 10's when you don't even know how to handle 12's.
Ok. I'm done for a while again. I've got new IC piping to install.
