You will need cams and cam gears to get that nice deep idle. And larger turbo, which then ## gonna need to upgrade a lot of other things.

When i rev my car up, you can hear the downspool really good. I have a megan racing downpipe with apexi n1 with the resonators and cat removed. Ill take a video soon

All custom, came with the car when I got it, it was a 2.5" expanding to 3" downpipe, 3" all the way back with no cat then to a magnaflow muffler which severly cut the flow, it seems the muffler they used is not for a turbo because it necks down from a 3" to 2" then under 2" inside the muffler it sounded good and the whistle was loud but I knew performance wise the exhuast just simply sucked, but Im done with it now, the car is all ripped apart and now the shell is for sale!

Get HE351VE VGT turbo(6.7 cummins turbo). Run with open 02 housing and with a 14b wastegate actuator controlling the VGT. The whistle is unbelievable when running under 7psi or so. Drive under an overpass at 70mph it sounds like a small jet flying over. Exhaust is also very quiet other than the whistle below 7psi.

Hopefully in a few weeks I'll get the motor back in and I can get a video.

I have a 20g with a 3" open downpipe and you can hear the turbo spooling. Sounds as close to a damn truck as it gets. Even when i had an open downpipe on my t25 it had a truck-like sound.

You know it's a DSM...when you hear lifter tap over a straight exhaust at idle.
