Wally 255lph pump rewire

ok, i have a 95 gst daily driver, and i was wantin to upgrade a few things, and need a 255lph fuel pump.

I was wantin to get the Walbro 255lph pump, mainly because its cheap, but every one says that its really loud and annoying.

I was wondering if rewiring the pump made it quieter, because that's what i've been told. And if not what is another solution.(Remember, i'm broke)

No it will not rewiring will make it louder cause it gets more volts but it will help you in the long run

Is there a different pump that wouldn't be loud, and maybe close to the same price?

You can go with the 190 but it will be almost as loud. They say the supra fuel pump is quiet but it is $

Have you heard anything bout the BBK pumps?

No I haven't but for 50 dollars more I believe you can get the supra fuel pump from Titan Motorsports. I guess it all depends on your mods, fuel setup and how far eventully you want to go. What is right for your pocket.

Dang, that thing's expensive! A Walbro really isn't that loud unless you run around with no back seat. I have to listen for mine to hear it, especially when I'm moving.

Some people that have Wally say that their friends have the Wally too, but theirs is twice as loud, so i don't know.

I might just take my chances with the BBK.

i agree i have a 255 in my 1g and i have to liscen for it to really hear it, ecpesialy driving... or turn the music up a tad and enjoy your new 255...
