If I install this pump will I need to adjust anything else. I don't yet have an AFC or the like to tune the car, should I wait to install the pump until I get an AFC?

thx

You'll probalby need an AFPR with that 255 on you're 2g. An SAFC would be helpfull too, especially if you're going with bigger injectors aswell. If you HAVE to change teh pump right now then do it. But if you can wait untill you get some more supporting mods, I'd wait.

I guess that is kind of a good thing because the car won't run with it in right now anyway.

BTW: What is a normal safe boost level without a SAFC / bigger injectors, ? About what EGT should I be trying to stay under while under full WOT? I figured the Walbro would let me up the boost safely a bit without having to jump right into larger injectors etc..

thx

I've ran fine with just my Walbro pump and no other fuel mods.
But it would be wise to get something if you're planning on bumping up the boost.
The safe boost level I'd say 15lbs.
Unless you're planning on staying @ WOT all day everyday, I'd say 1400 degrees.

Hope this helps man. :thumb:

you dont need a afc and you dont NEED a afpr... but a AFPR would be VERY helpful... even if its a cheap B&M 60$ afpr...

I have a walbro 255 hp and i have a afpr but its not installed and on wot 3rd gear pulls i get constant .83 o2 on my datalogger and good timing.

I will probably put in the AFPR after I replace one of the parts in my afpr
