ok before anyone asks iv check all over the forums and haven't found a answer so heres my question. i just got done installing a walbro 255 with a fpr set at 38psi with a rewire kit but when i dive it it has power until the boost kicks in and then it starts acting like its hitting fuel cut so i raised the psi to 45 and still same thing so im lost what is causing this to happen i have a 1g 1990 awd talon

Pressure should be 38 psi.
What boost level? What other mods?
Drop the fuel pressure back to 38.
Is it studdering under boost or what?

I think stock 1g fuel should be at 43.5 psi

Are your running stock injectors?

Do you have any logging software? Watching you AFR would be your best bet right now, to see what is happening in your car.

If you are getting fuel cut, your ecu is see too much air.

yes im running stock injectors 450 and no i dont have logging software

Is this 12 Psi possibly creeping since you have a 3" exhaust?

yes it is but its not the exhaust its my internal wastegate the flapper is bad im going to replace it soon with a new mhi evo3 b16g
How is the flapper bad?
Do you have a aftermarket boost gauge?
Manual boost controller?

If your on the stock 14b, running your wastegate off the j-pipe that 12psi can creep on up to almost 20psi by redline. The stock 90 MAF with a 14b will hit fuel cut around 18-19psi.

The stock fuel maps are extremely rich to begin with... with out a wide-band to know how rich your really are it's hard to say but you'd be surprised what it will do running very rich...

Also, try to only start one thread of your problem you can get confused real quick by doing so an it's generally frowned a pone
