VRSF FMIC and N/T TB

I want to make a one piece UICP from TB to VRSF end tank.
I see what you're asking now, I thought you were concerned about using the entire VRSF FMIC kit and not just the core.

I'd still recommend using the UICP that came with the VRSF kit and have someone modify the IM side of it, whether that means extending it to reach a 90* reducer coupler or extending it and welding on a 90* pipe.

Thanks for the advice. This is probably gonna be the best way too since I already will have most of the piping from the old kit anyway. I'm curious, where do you have your IAT sensor? I didn't even think of that issue til just now :banghead:.
 
On the underside of the UICP, just before the bov. Please excuse the mess, this was taken a few years ago...

Oh wow good to see my old thread is still alive and kickin!

I didnt end up putting the N/T TB on. Just stuck with a 1g. Plus I already welded a bung on my TB elbow for SD so I just stuck with the stock piping.

Not as clean as gofers, but oh well

Haha. That's funny you kept the 1g TB but I understand, when I installed my IAT I had planned on eventually making a one piece UICP and went further down. That and I wasn't sure if I may someday want to run a meth injection setup and that stuff kills IAT sensors if they are downstream from where you inject it.

Anyway, that's a clean ass engine bay and your car is probably faster with that HTA71 hanging off the manifold. I like it. :thumb:
