Stock converters are not known to couple very effectively on the top end.

No kidding! Last weekend qualifying at IFO I went [email protected] on much smaller turbo (FP3052) and less boost (only 25psi
) with a Sinister Speed 8" core 2 converter. With a poor DA too: 85 degree weather and 3100ft elevation. Comparing my setup to the OP:
Sinister converter
No nitrous (on this 10.8 pass anyway)
Tired 2.0L 9.0to1 motor (145psi compression)
2950 curb weight (3150 with me in it)
Launching at 10psi boost and 4200rpm!!
1.60 sixty foot (need to add timing)
E-85, JMF drag intake, BC 280 cams
I used the TCI site and calculated 5.8% slippage trapping 127.84mph at 7600rpms in 3rd gear on 26" tires. 5.8% is VERY good considering I can launch at nearly 4500rpm! Mike over as Sinister Speed has really upped his game
Congrats on the times and all those wins! Looking forward to more from your car!
