Hello all, I own a 1995 Eclipse GSX with a 97 engine swap. When I got the car it needed flywheel bolts re torqued because they have backed out, but I went ahead and replaced them with some brand new OEM ones. While I had the transmission out I went ahead and decided to go ahead and replace the engine/rod bearings with ACL race bearings. After I got the motor back in and car running I've been having trouble with cold starts. I've replaced the CTS in my car the other day and it seemed to help some, but not enough to make a difference. I bought the CTS for the 97-99 4g63 from advance auto, But I've read on some threads that the 95-96 and the 97-99 are different. The fan's kick on when they are suppose too. I did notice at the beginning of the log my temp jumps from 80's to 229 back to 90 degrees. I'm not sure if that is suppose to be normal or what. After the car warms up to operating temps it runs great, it idles around 15.0-15.3 I know thats a little lean, when driving i'm around 14.5-14.9 which is around it should be. I was just wondering if you guys could take a look at this log and maybe tell me what could be wrong. Thanks!
