version2 MAFT, GM MAF in 97gst

ok so i have searched and couldn't find something specific enough for me to take this on myself. i want to do the right things to run my hks vented, im not going for high hp you can check my build thread and i dont hope for more than 250hp just running right. please i understand people who say "why you want your car run like poo" well i don't. thats why i have purchased the parts and have yet to get a wideband.
i have a GEN2 MAF translator, on the back it has the plug that comes from the back follow that plug and its just wires no plug on the other end. i also have the 3'' GM MAF, that has a plug also. i can post pics of the end plug on that one, it isnt just wires like the plug coming off the GEN2 MAFT.

where does everything come into play. my ECU, stock 2g maf plug, 3g maf, and GEN2 MAFT.

i dont think the MAFT comes with plugs on both ends.

Which translator do you have? The one with knobs and dipswitches or the one that has the digital box? I have the version 2 but it has the knobs and dipswitches. Mine is version 2.XX.

I have the same unit except it is on a 1g. That is the way is comes new. You will have to splice into some wiring but it is not too hard to do. I'll see if I can fin some of my notes for you.
