Venting to atmosphere

Okay my little brother just bought a 96 gsx and he wants to vent to the atmosphere so does he need aything else? or can he just remove the recirc tube and plug the holes? it is an all stock 2g

This has been cover thousands of times. It will make the car run bad likely if he isn't running speed density. Sure he can do it, but would he rather have a car with a loud bov, or a car that runs well.

No. The stock maf is accounting for the air the bov releases. It will cause the car to run rich stumble and run like shit. Get an after market bov if you want the sound.


Some cars are affected more then others. It's just better to keep it how it is
