vc? center diff? bad?

1G dsm awd.
I would brake boost in second gear and it feels like it wheel hops, but that doesnt make sense because its awd.
Something slips in the top of 3rd and 4th gear but i dont smell anything. Ive herd it could be the vc, center diff or the clutch. Clutch is a qm twindisk and had about 10,000 miles when i got it (too good of a deal to pass up). I put an extra 5k miles on it no problem.
Is there anyway I can tell what one out of the three is starting to go out before i tare into it?[DOUBLEPOST=1407803584][/DOUBLEPOST]Drives perfectly fine when driving normal, it doesn't have a welded center diff.

I had to do research on this aswell, I talked to quite a few people and theg all say that they know their lsd is good when the car is jacked up and you spin one of the rear wheel and the other spins the same direction. With mine I couldn't feel any resistance on the opposite wheel so im calling it bad.
Hope this helps, unfortunately if the diff is bad its near impossible to find a diff. Ive been looking for months and everyone snatches them up or keeps them for their next build. Good luck!

the wheel hop might be from bad motor mounts? maybe even bad ball joints... there are tons of factors that could cause it to happen
