So its been about 5kiles since my rebuild and ive had to change valve seals about 5 times. They keep popping off the guides. Also when i check the timing its always off a tooth after i realize the seals are bad. I rotate the motor 6 times and set perfect tension on it everytime i do the timing, so i dont know why it skips a tooth. Im running 25psi on a e3 16g, and i think the culprit is excessive crankcase pressure. Any thoughts?

You need to drive the seals on until they bottom out. There should be no reason for the seals to come off unless the guide is damaged some how. As for the timing. IF the tensioner is good and the tensioner pulley is adjusted properly there is no way for the timing to jump. When you released the tensioner pin were you able to reinstall it?

Do the seals feel snug when you tap them on with a hammer?

If all you are doing is pushing them down with your fingers, you will not get the seal to lock onto the guide.

Are the seals all beat up? If the guides were not installed all the way than the retainer could be hitting the seal when the valve opens and damaging the seal, it isn't likely that the seal would come off the guide though.

Are you sure they are seated all the way? Just pushing them on with a socket isnt gonna do it, You need to give it a few hits with a hammer.

Do the springs make contact with the seals if so you will need to buy the seals with the small O.D. . Are the valve bent by chance thats the only other thing I cant think of

The springs on the 'top' are needed to keep them on, but require a decent amount of pressure to put on.
