Does anyone know the maximum valve lift for a 1G head for the best flow on a non ported head?

There's no limit. More lift = more flow. The tradeoff is that to get really high lift the cam also needs long duration or really steep lift rates, or both. Long duration gives great high rpm power at the expense of low rpm power.

What are your plans?

Planning to use OE Evo valve springs/retainers with either HKS272/264 or Tomei 260. But I have a -12cc dished pistons with small valve relief on the intake side and a tiny one on the exhaust. Just don't what the pistons to slap the valves.

so does anyone know/remember delta cam reground specs? 264 and 272?
