first of all, i tried to remove the first guide without looking up how to do it the easy way, so of corse now this one is messed up and all the other ones are out. can i drill out the guide? ive tried everything to get this last one out but i messed it up pretty good, also i put some good gouges in the side of the head ill post pictures i want to know if its bad or not. i dont see how it would cause any harm. thanks

Yes post pics of the guide bore.

How did you remove the guides?

If the guide bore is too distoted, gouged, the head will be junk

If the gouges are deep and full length, oil can pass between the guide and guide bore.

You do know the seats will have to be cut after the new guides are installed, lapping the valves will not do.

well the first one is the one i messed up on, all the other ones i tapped/screwed in a bolt then on the bottom i put a bolt that fit in and hammerd them out. heres my mess from the first one, messed up the bore only has one little spot on it thats bad.

sorry that not everyone is the worlds best speller, or good at using grammer.

Not good... Not good at all

I can not say if the head is good or not at this point, it is hard to tell from a few pics.

It needs to go to an experanced machinist, that understands valve guide work in alum heads.

That one guide bore may have to be honed and fitted with an OS guide.
