ECMlink V3 help (not starting)

Hey guys I just got my link v3 up and running! I connected my 95 eprom ecu into my 97 2g and I cant get it started now! I bought the link used from a member. I decided to reset the ecu to stock settings so I could start fresh and start logging! I did swap the plugs around and check the box that says non 95/96 CAS. I will try and start the car and it will sound like its about to start. RPM's will jump to 1500 then they will just drop to 0 and the car will shut off! I do have a stock ecu and the car turns on fine without it! Is there something that I am forgetting to set on DSMlink??? Any help is appreciated! Thanks guys!

You don't switch plug wires with link it you have the box for non 95-96 Cas checked. You are basically bypassing the problem when switching plug wires and undoing the bypass by checking the box. Just uncheck the box OR switch the wires back and she should start right up.

I've tried a bunch of different arrangements with the plugs swapped and the box not checked and it still didn't start?? I'll go double check right now!!

No, you need to do both.

I knew that you had to do both! I followed that exact link!! I try and log and it only spikes when I try and start up! How exactly do I post up my setting file???

Either start a capture with the key on or while you're trying to start it and post that log, or you can click on ECU config and ECU direct access and you should be able to go to File > Save and save a properties and direct access file that way.

According to your log, you have it set that you're running a GM MAF with the ECMTuning GM MAF cable. According to your profile that isn't true. That's probably your issue.
