Washington,
I have a 16g turbo and have purchased a 20g w/no wastegate actuator/wastegate on it. Can i use the one from my 16g on the 20g?

thanks

You can use it, but it will take some modification to make it work properly.

You'll need to flatten out the two brackets so the actuator pushes straight across rather than angled as it is on a 16G. You will also need to manufacture some type of shim to mount it properly because one of the mounting tabs will be higher than the other.

It's possible you'll need to drill/tap the compressor cover in order to get the alignment of the actuator correct as well. Sometimes the 20G covers are drilled properly, sometimes not.
