using a manual tranny,on auto block??

i have a 93 eclipse gs with the dohc engine,i also have a laser with the dohc engine my gs is a 5speed manual the laser is an automatic. could i just swap out flywheels onto the laser engine and use my tranny on the block. reason is i blew my engine in the gs but i hate automatic and i hate the lasers

okay i asume what you are asking is if you can pull the engine out of the laser and put your flywheel on that with the 5 speed trans into your gs? if thats what you are asking, the answer is yes. the blocks are the same between the two cars. you will have to change the aluminum plate that is between the engine and the trans, you have to keep the 5 speed one with the trans, the other one will make the starter not touch the flywheel.

yes sir you can change the blocks are all the same are you putting manual tranny on the auto or the auto on the manual im confused?
