Unusual ticking sound

Hello, Ive got a 1998 eagle talon TSI FWD 6bolt swap and Ive constantly been doing work to her . Just recently ive noticed a slight ticking at startup and is fairly loud then just goes away after about 20 seconds. Well today however after getting out of work i start her up and here the loud ticking but it doesnt go away, I let her warm up for about 10mins then decide to drive her on home. After about 5mins of driving and keeping the boost to a minimum the ticking just stopped. I have heard lifter tick in the past on other vehicles and various engines but this to me dont sound like lifter tick. Its coming from inbetween the intake manifold and the valve cover. Kinda has a spark knock sound like a diesel would have. I have also taken the oil cap off to see if the noise changes but it dont make any audible difference. Just wondering as to what this could be, ive researched this as best as possible but all everyone says is lifter tick and im sure thats because its extremely common. just wanting to know what other possibilitys are out there. If i have to change lifters im gunna do a whole head job and would like a recomendation on a complete setup (cams,valve springs,guides,valves and lifters) my car is basicly bone stock other than the look goodies . Figure maybe i should mention that i just got my real oil pressure gauge hooked up (not stock one) and my oil pressure is at like 100psi at cold startup and about 70psi during cruise. Ive got many other problems but for the sake of trying to keep this shortish im gunna end it here. Would a guess this sound video help? Thnx for all your help in advance!

theres a vid of mine, it does sound liek its coming from the back right of the engine, maybe between valve cover and fuel rail. Ive been super busy lately so i have not had a chance to do anything to mine, but it usually goes away after driving for a bit, but when i first start up its loud, and you can even hear it INSIDE the car if you listin closely.

Would love some answers

Wow no need to post a video, yours sums it up exactly. Gets louder inbetween the intake manifold and Valve Cover. I read the comments on your Thread and it seems everyone is still pointing at Lifter tick so im sure thats what im gunna get here to. Kinda nice because its not to bad of a fix, Hey atleast it aint a rod knock.

Rod knock wouldn't go away after 20 minutes. Lol
But the lifter senerio is going to be your best bet. 3G revised lifters are fairly cheap now and can be changed with the cams and timing belt still intact. There are a few videos on YouTube that will be very helpful in this repair.

If it isn't rod knock then it might be just excessive valvetrain noise. Has the head been milled that you know of?
