Okay, I've looked around my engine for open spots for this cap-like connector but I couldn't find anything that looked like a "convenient" home for it. This connector comes off the same set of wires as the alternator connectors and looks like a cap with threads on it. it's fairly long and I have a picture of it (albeit not a very good one.)

Thanks for anyone who can help me on where this goes, because I know I didn't take it off originally, and I couldn't find anything in search on what it is or where it goes.

See if you can back it out alittle bit and give us a snapshot with a circle on what you are refering too. :)

If it's the wire I'm thinking of (on a 2g) it attaches to the top of the power steering pump.

Yep, that's what it was for. Thank you and sorry again for that crappy picture. I just didn't have a lot of room to take it, so I guess I should have taken it from above the car instead of below.

There's one other plastic connector that I found one day broken off. I think it's for the cruise control actuator's vacuum line, and I searched that before, but I'm still not sure. The picture included is a lot better than the last one.
