My car is a 95 eclipse GST. Recently, I found this unplugged blue/white connector behind the glove box. It cannot be traced back where it goes, because it is taped together with other wires.

I asked a couple of my DSM friends, but they came the different answers. One said it connects relay, one said it goes to CD changer, and one said it goes to the other wiring under the glove box. Also I cannot identify this by checking Service Manual.

It would be appreciated that someone could tell me what the connector is, and where it goes?

I would like attach the picture, but it doesn't work.:banghead:

Here comes the picture, please click the address below. Thanks.

No, mine is a 2-pin connector. It is not as big as what you posted.

I cannot find any related thread talking about this connector.

its probably for an option your car didnt come with. they use the same harness for multiple years/models so sometimes things just dont get plugged in.

Yeah further away would help. Possibly to the airbag or something related to the alarm. There is probably a tech article that lists all the dash connectors.

Guys, thanks for all your feedbacks.

My friends and I investigate on this issue for these two days, and work out the possibility that it is just a factory unplugged connector on my 95GST eclipse.

Here comes the picture I searched on website (actually on Ebay :D).

The part number of A/C evaporator on 1994/Jan~1994/Sep eclipse is MR148156. As you can see, both left and right side comes with a wire, and goes to the black and blue connector respectively.
My friend's 94 GST shows the connections.

Here comes the clear picture of my car.

You can see the part number of A/C evaporator on my 1995/May eclipse is MR227706. The left side I circled in yellow comes with a wire, and goes to the black connector. The right side I circled in red was sealed by one kind of glue. As Jimmy said above, that's why my blue connector is unplugged.

Also, I request another friend for help checking his 97 GST spyder, he said there is even no blue connector on there. Hope this information helps you guys.

I am from Taiwan. Sorry, my English is not so good. :p
