Unknown connector

Does anyone recognize the electrical connector in the pic? It comes from a harness below the thermostat housing and was just hanging down. Is it possibly a diagnostic port of some kind? Thanks for any info.

Possibly goes to the Coolant Temp Switch for the A/C. Do you still have the A/C on your car? It doesn't look like you have the actual switch on the thermo stat housing.

Thanks flytalon93. No I do not have a/c. Just wanted to know if the connector was supposed to be hooked up. I'll just leave it where it is then.

I tried repling last night but the servers where sucking.

Yes it is the coolant temp switch for the AC. I found the same connector loose on my car, did some research and found out that this is what it is. Unfortunately I have AC and mine doesn't blow cold air, I don't know if this switch is the reason why or not.

It may be unplugged on yours because the AC control unit is bad- it lives up behind the glovebox.
