af/x

I have it on my car, great mod....good bang for the buck

EDIT I didnt go on that ebay link, af/x (aside from orthodox) is the only company i trust to drive the crank of my car......Sometimes people just pay for the brand, but other times, like this one, its not a knockoff which you want.

I ordered it about a month and a half ago, and have yet to put it on. I really havent had the time since i just started goin back to school and started football so i havent gotten around to do it. It seems like it would fit right, but DO NOT get it if you dont have a REALLY GOOD idea of what your doing, b/c it comes with no instructions or belts...

is the afx pulley the same size as stock? will a stock sized belt fit or would i have to measure it? in a thread regarding pulleys about a month ago someone noted that some underdrive pulleys wont allow belts that are the stock length. they said to get a piece of string and tie it around the route that the belt goes and take the string to kragen or napa to get a belt that length.....but anyways do the stock belts fit with the afx pulley?

the udp is smaller in diameter than the stock damper.Hence the "underdrive" in underdrive pulley.so no your stock belts will not fit cuz now they are too long. However, Howell Automotive is your salvation. The AFX UDP comes with the new belts you need.I wouldn't trust anyone thats not brand name on this particular product.I've heard horror stories about the ebay pulleys unot being balanced and messing up alot of things under your hood.

Dont get the obx one, i heard it was for the 4g63, and they didnt know it wouldnt fit ours. and if your saying the obx pulley is a knock off of aem, then definatly dont, because aem doesnt make one for ours. the pulley comes with belts. and you dont need to know exactly what your doing. i went in there with only what i read from sean gordons install page, and i got it done perfectly.
