Ok, I understand that this should be one of the first mods from what i read, however, how would you put one on, is it easy, how much time, I'm handy, not a mechanic, but capable of doing anything with effort and proper directions.

if it is not something important to do, let me know that also

It is a pita to bo on the 420a. I would stay away from the underdrive pulley and go for other things. I did the afx on a 96 dohc neon and they are pressed on, not bolted on. Im not sure of the 2g dsm but Imsure it is the same.

I wrote that one

thats Sean Gordons one. i wrote the one on tuners cause i wanted to give a little more detail. but i dont have any pics.

anyways, i got to use a lift and the help from my dads mechanic. i wasnt really prepared with the bolt that is needed, and with all that it took about 3 hours. its kinda a pain in the ass. the gear puller can break the stock pulley. try and use one that grips the inside ring of the pulley, not the out side. you have to press the new pulley on, but you can do that with the bolt. i just tapped the pulley on a little bit with a hammer, then used teh longer bolt and screwed it in, using it to press the pulley on. then i switched to the old stock bolt to finish it off. its definatly do able, just takes some time. read my tech and PM me if you have any Q's. or just post them on here. im on here alot so ill get you PM pretty quick

Had my car for 3 years been modding since 2 weeks after i bought it and still havnt bought the underdrive pulley LOL.

well boys i ordered an OBX underdrive pulley off E-Bay today (75.50 after s&h!), so me and a friend are gonna be partaking on this long horrible journey that is putting on the underdrive pulley as soon as is it comes in. i'll tell ya'll how it goes and if its really worth the hassle afterwards.

FYI- my car is stock as of now, the exception of a cone filter so we really will see if it works well without the help of any other mods. PM me if you wanna ask any questions.

Is it better to go with the underdrive crank pulley or overdriven acessories pullies?

if u get a underdrive pulley, it does exactly what the title says it will under drive ure accesory belts. Not by much afx does it 30% if im not mistaken.
