UICP question

Im going to be upgrading to FMIC in about a year. In the mean time I was going to purchase a Hard pipe UICP. Im getting it real cheap, is it worth the $ to upgrade untill I get a FMIC. Will it help me out at all with my mod list or is it a waste of money. Thanks

Looking at your mod list, I would go with some kind of logging setup. You may see a little bit from an UICP but you might as well wait until you upgrade the intercooler too. I think a logger would be of more value for the money.

I have a logger. Nothing to tune with yet. The only reason I was thinking of buying this because im getting it for $50 couplers and all. Would I see any increase in performance or not really.

It really depends on what type of FMIC you get. My Greddy FMIC did not come with UICP so I had to buy some. If you plan to goet a FMIC that comes with the UICP I would just hold off and save the $50.

Well I will be getting a FMIC around tax time. So its going to be a while. My question is will I see any noticable performance from buying this? So for $50 would this be a good bang for the buck mod. I have lots of buddys that would buy this when I do upgrade so im not worried about the $50

It wouldnt hurt if your wanting to spend the money. When i replaced my uicp and licp i could tell a differnce, not much but some. Because you dont have the soft pipes flexing as much. Im not to sure what kind of pipes 1g come with but i know mine sucked. You could free rev it and just watch them flex.

yes it will make a difference but also consider upgrading the 1g stock tb elbow as in there is a loss in performance there, so with that elbow and the licp and uicp you should notice a difference and maybe even easier spool.

Thanks guys I think im going to buy it. Its pretty cheap and I can sell it when I do upgrade to a FMIC.
