Well you should start by figuring out what you average gas velocity will be through the header diameter of your choice. Or maybe what is the open area of your valves at 2/3 lift?

I remember seeing buschur stuff at the shoutout at its a lot smaller than 1.5 sched 40. Marcos header on a monster prolly 45r was smaller too.

Dia. I can assure you you don't use the same dia as everyone else. Also just because everyone else does it, doesn't make it right.

Marco doesnt use sch pipe he uses tube probably 16 guage 1.5" OD

Sch 10 1.5 pipe is 1.5" ID 1.9" OD

It looked a lot smaller than 1.5" od. Seriously though until the average velocity in the pipe approaches Mach, it's not a restriction.

Also it's not just the small dia increases velocity, but the small dia reduced volume. That helps keep the pressure pulses high. Twin scroll is tech called "pulse charging"
