Tuning results!

got tuned yesterday, yippie.

20psi, pump gas.

started out with 214hp, not sure of torque.
second pull 20 psi - 280hp,277ft.lbs
3rd pull tuned for 23psi made - 312hp,326ft.lbs.
the third pull was knocking at the top end so he had to turn boost back adjust fuel.

The final number was 20 psi - 287hp,286ft.lbs.

very happy with the results. 214hp is caca.

on a sadder note. On the way home my trans ate it's self up.

What was wrong with your settings (to rich or to lean) and how much did they change them to make such a big diff?

i looked at my high setting real quick.

i had -24 across the board.

they change form -14,-14,-14,-17,-17,17,-20,-20,20

thats what they did.

so i guess i suck ass at tuning. Its a learning experience

I guess I got more than I bargained for with my 550's. I had my afc at -24% across the board with 20psi, and made 294whp and 276lb-ft of torque.

So you were to Rich? I think everyone always keeps it on the rich side and then when you tune it you find out how lean you can go.

Actually, it was lean. They had to richen it up. Going from -24 to -14 is actuallr 10%richer than it was.

yes i was to lean it should be mandatory all turbo cars come equipped with wideband its one of the best tools ever created.

when i get my trans back i'm going to get a water injection kit too and see if i can get back that 23hp i lost because of knocking up top on pump gas.

Make a vfaq of the kit if you piece it together yourself.
