Ok first of all please don't trash on me because I all ready spent the last half hour or so looking on this site for the location of the turn signal flasher with no luck. I found a link here for the service manual and searched there with no luck. I did manage to find part # MR301971 and after breaking one of the lock tab I was able to get it off.
I am wanting to convert all of my exterior bulbs to HID/LED's and need to find and order the flasher. I just went and ordered one up off of LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS and the one for the Japanese cars look nothing like what I pulled out. Is this part the correct one because I cannot get to the other flasher looking one sitting next to the one I just pulled.
Any help would be nice.

well all your tail lights are 1157 back ups are 1156 side marker and license plate 194 front turns or 1157 dash 94 light ring on column neo 3

Ok let me clarify a bit further. I already bought the bulbs and the turn signal all work just manually. I'm looking for the location of the flasher if it's not the one that I already pulled. But thank you anyway...

If yours is 4g63 it's located behind the radio. Just remove center console and radio. Then turn on a blinker to help you hear it. It's it's a black square box. And the reason I asked of it was a turbo DSM is because that's what I have could be the same on a 420a but I wouldn't know

...well I WAS going to convert all of my outside lights to LED...didn't even realize that I needed to do anything but switch the bulbs...so much for that idea.

if you want led turn signals why not wire in a resistor and call it a day?

I was going to do that however the resistor is like $6x6...can get a bit expensive...

Here is the turn signal & hazard flasher unit: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=119309&d=1298185064. It is behind and above radio on the right side.

Factory part #MB943259.

That is the first one that I took out and looked at it and thought to myself "no way" I did look at hacking the flasher however $30 for resistors is the way to go...thanks guys...

OK, basically you dont have to go thru all the trouble of taking your radio out, there is a way you get it out 1000x faster maybe like a few minutes and unplug it and take it out. Just take a flat head pry off the panel where the center vents and hazard switch is. Disconnect all three wires off unless you have a convertible then just two. After that just look through and to the right and you see it plain as day and you have more than enough room to reach in and grab it but after you unscrew the mount which is a simple opening of the glove box and there is enough space for a 10mm socket, socket wrench, an extension and just lose it then you just take that wrench off and twist off by hand just using the 10mm and extension. After that just grab the flash dont worry you can nearly pull it all the way out and turn it over to disconnect the wire and BOOM!! there you have it folks all done. (Note: Once you diconnect that first plug for the hazard lights switch your blinkers are not gonna work, but you can leave it on and hanging to inspect the flasher, it wont hurt anything.)
