Turbonetics 60-1 Needs Repair !HELP!

Hey guys, I have a Turbonetics 60-1 and i was running open turbo and the o2 sensor wire got sucked into the turbo and broke all the front fins on the turbine wheel. Is there a way i can replace that turbine wheel?

Sure, get in touch with Turbonetics....be ready with the part number from the turbo itself or the back of the wheel (if you're lucky enough that the stamp didn't wear off), and also have a jar of Vaseline handy as well.

Found out its an AGP RS60. their website says they don't rebuild turbonetics turbos

That makes no sense as Turbonetics builds AGP turbos. Regardless, skip the middle-man and go direct to Turbonetics if you want results.

"If your turbo was not purchased by AGP Turbo, please contact the company you purchased it from. If it did not start off life coming from AGP, we do not want to rebuild it."

Well Turbonetics' design is based on the Garrett T3 platform, the same as Precision and about every other knockoff Garrett copy out there....so that only means one of two things:

1) "We're so busy selling new turbos that we don't want bothered with rebuilds".

2) "Turbonetics, the company who builds our turbos, does such a poor job that we're constantly overwhelmed doing rebuilds for our customers and just don't have the manpower to accept rebuilds from competing brands".
