My car does as well, its something inside the intake that has a whistle sound. its fun to hear but makes me want a 4g63 more

Even if it were aftermarket it wouldn't make sense to have a spooling sound... unless... it is just the sound of the air being pulled through the filter. I suppose I could see that happening.

Actually it does matter, some injen intakes will make a spoiling noise. An they're made to do so.

My buddy's Celica sounded like this when the rpm's got high enough..You could literally hear the air being sucked in..It was cool to hear, it kinda tricked you into thinking it had a turbo..It also has an aftermarket air intake on it tho..

Yea dude its retarded. I don't know how anyone could justify a purchase like this.
Also my friend wasted almost 400 dollars on a AEM intake pipe, filter, box, and stickers, for his z24 caviler. He said it gave his car 25hp!! And he mentioned racing the talon when it's done.....
