turbo whining. no boost!

i just installed a 20g that i bought used but with low miles on it.
it has 0 shaft play and everything is hooked up right.
every time i accell... it makes a loud whining sound and it builds 0 boost.
i dont know whats wrong. any ideas guys
i need help fast

no it is external and it feels N/A

something is not hooked up properly. sounds to me like your wastegate is open all the time. try running the boost line directly from the wastegate to the turbo/charge pipe. see if that holds boost.

Sounds like a boost leak somewhere. Check intercooler pipes, vacuum lines, and all of that nonesense

Whining sounds like a bad turbo. When turbos start to sound like kenne bell superchargers, you know you've got a bad turbo.
