No Boost/No Turbo Spool

First off i have a 92 eclipse gsx. basicly stock except for the bov and uicp. So heres the story, im heading back to school driving on the highway crusing pretty quick on the highway and i was boosting just fine hitting .7 bar which comes out to about 10 psi. well i downshift into 4th and let the car slow down alittle becuase i know where the cops like to sit so i left it coast me back down to speed.. well i go to give it gas again i no longer have any boost nor is the turbo spooling. so i pulled off the highway to check it out and also becuase i need to fill up too. and everything looked like it was still hooked up right. so i got back on the road to see if it would work after having the car shut down... well as you can see im making a post here so its still not working and the most my boost gauge only hit a high of .2 bar(about 3 psi) and the was like in 3rd gear at 6000 rpm. and im kinda screwed right now since i dont not have most of my tools with me since im now at school (in kenosha WI) and not back in chicago.
so does anyone know what could have caused this? i know my turbo had slight shaft play so i dont think the turbo went out on me becuase ive never noticed smoke or anything coming out, plus the fact that it was working right until i downshifted then nothing. so im hoping somone can help me out by giving me a few ideas on what to check or if anyone is around here (kenosha WI) could come check it out. i dont think its throwing out any codes then again my logger cant check it since im using mmcd (and i only thought it through out codes if the check engine light was on.. but then again i could be wrong). so maybe someone that has a logger then can pull up codes could help me out.. i just want to get it working since i do have to drive it everyday to and from school. and i have no idea if its bad to drive it like that. so please someone help me out with anything. thanks so much.

Check the wastegate arm.

Same problem happened to my car, I was giving it a little boost then all of a sudden hardly no boost. So I looked under the hood and the cotter pin that holds the wastegate arm to the turbo broke and was just hanging their, and the wastegate was stuck open, their for making it very hard to build any sort of boost pressure. Luckily I have an O2 dump and I could diagnose that problem very easy because all of the exhaust was exiting out the dump and it sounded like ass.

I-luv-em-all you are my hero!!! i went out and check it out and sure enough i saw the arm hanging there so i was able to put it back on for now and tomorrow i will go buy a cotter pin to keep it on for sure. thanks so much!
